Re: acupuncture

I did acupuncture throughout my entire pregnancy this last time. i do believe it helped...both mentally and physically. i also did yoga with meditation which was also so grounding for me. going to acu every 3 wks was so reassuring to hear my body was doing well in between doctor visits. i went 40wks...

Re: NST questions

oh my goodness 2.5 hours?? wow. that is super long. i am surprised they didn't just move to the BPP after 1 hour. that seems kinda ridiculous to make you sit there that long, poor you and baby. i would recommend eating and drinking something right before the NST and during if need be. I had them don...

Re: Preemie gender-how much does it affect the outcome?

i wonder if it has anything to do with the male sperm being faster and quicker but the female sperm being slower but stronger? i remember when my son was born knowing that boys don't do as well as preemies, but he did great. i think what jasmin said, it depends on the age of the babe really. i would...

Re: NEED HELP IN FIGURING THIS OUT!

congrats on making it so far! i had to chime in since i looooooooooove names and talking about names and hearing about names :) so my two cents is Kendall Lauren. mainly because i like the name kendall better than the name lauren and giving your mfm a tribute to the middle name seems more appropriat...

Re: stopping lda at 36 weeks?

My doc told me if i wanted to stop it i could but since the dose was so low there was nothing to worry about. i chose to stop it around 38wks and gave birth at 40wks with no complications. i was so nervous to stop it as well and kept thinking the minute i stop i will get PE! but i don't think that i...

Re: When do NSTs start?

i didn't start till 32 wks. and i only went once a week. your doc isn't there, a nurse is. at first i didn't mind them but i was sooooooo over them by the end. my advice to you is eat and drink something right before or during your nst. it almost always guarentees the 2 required heart accelerations ...
