Re: PE in second pregnancy only!?
I'm sorry for the loss of your daughter. I had two healthy pregnancies and then developed Eclampsia at 27 weeks with my daughter. We also lost her. Underlying conditions all came back negative for me as well. I almost wanted something to turn up because then there would be a reason. I know that it d...

Re: When to try again?
I had a classical c-section and Eclampsia at 27 weeks with #3. I went to a pre-conception appointment with my MFM four months later and he told me I didn't need to wait to get pregnant. Nobody in my county is doing VBACs with my type of incision, so that might have influenced his opinion. The subseq...

Re: Pregnancy outcomes after severe, early-onset pre-e?
I'm sorry for the loss of your sweet Henry. I had eclampsia at 27 weeks with my third pregnancy and lost my daughter. All of my testing came back normal. My husband and I decided to try again. The subsequent pregnancy was incredibly difficult emotionally, but physically was fine. I had a caesarian a...

I didn't know it was coming and it was a huge trigger for my husband and myself. It has been a rough night.

Re: Loneliness and TTC
The first months after losing my daughter were incredibly difficult. I didn't know that I could feel so much profound sadness that did not get better. Trying to conceive again felt incredibly brave and scary. The grief was still with me. My subsequent pregnancy was entirely different than any of my ...

Re: How long did you wait to TTC after loss, classical incis
I'm sorry for your loss. My first daughter was delivered by a Classical C at 27 weeks. She didn't make it out of the NICU. Our Perinatologist told us there we could start TTC four months later. We did and I now have a five month old. My understanding is that uterine ruptures are slightly more likely...

Re: Preeclampsia and HELLP in 2nd, but not 1st pregnancy
I had two uncomplicated pregnancies and then Eclampsia at 27 weeks with my third. I'm now 37 weeks into my fourth pregnancy with no complications. It doesn't seem like we follow the typical patterns, but we are out there.

Re: rainbow babies
I'm for your loss.
I developed Eclampsia at 27 weeks and my daughter died 16 days later. My story isn't over yet, but I am 36 weeks today with no complications. I'm confident enough about my health to keep pushing the C-section date back. I'm going for 39 weeks

Re: Proteinuria after PE
My OB consulted with a Neurologist and was willing to wait three months postpartum to see if my levels dropped. By that point, I still had proteinuria, but at follow up testing with the Neurologist a couple of weeks later, it had resolved. The protein showed back up seven months postpartum when I wa...

Re: Very scared... kidney disease after pre e?
I hope yours comes down. I remember being very freaked out about kidney disease. A family friend letme know that she had mild kidney disease and only had to modify her diet for years. That sounded a lot better than dialysis and transplant. So, there is a range of treatment depending on severity. My ...
