Re: PE Risk in Relation to Maternal Mood & Anxiety

I find this very interesting. I was diagnosed with Panic/Anxiety disorder in college. I had been on zoloft off and on before I had my dd in 2000. I was diagnosed with PE and delivered at 36 weeks. I recently had a miscarriage in Dec at 15 weeks. I have not been on zoloft for a few years b/c my anxie...

Congrats. Good luck. I haven't heard about a Vit to prevent PE. Where did you read or hear about his. Making an appt with MFM and would love to ask about that.

Re: Recurrent miscarriage following PE

That is a very interesting question. My daughter is 11 1/2. I had PE with her. She was born at 36 weeks with a few complications, but is very healthy today. I receIntly had a miscarriage at 15 weeks. I never had any signs of miscarriage and the baby was only 11 weeks. My husband and I have been marr...

Re: Has anyone watched the Disney movie Up?

I have to disagree with those of you that think this a depressing movie. The beginning is sad. I did get teary eyed watching that part, but I get teary eyed easily. My daughter is 11 and thinks I'm nuts. My husband cried at the endn of Despicable Me. I think it has a positive message; especially the...

Pittsburgh area? I'm looking for MFM

I live about 35 min from Pittsburgh. I was pre-eclamptic with my first daughter 11 years ago. I just miscarried at 15 weeks. The baby was 11 weeks and I started having BP issues around 10. I want to consult with a MFM before deciding if we should try again. I got a list of MFM's from the list posted...

Re: Early onset pre eclampsia? Anything I can do to stop it?

I can give you a positive story from 11 1/2 years ago. I am not sure when my bp started to rise in that pregnancy, but I would say that at about 30 weeks it was up. At 32 weeks I was put on bed rest. I was induced at 36 weeks. My bp was up 165/110. I had a lot of swelling as well. Even though the de...

I was sent for an ultrasound and there was none seen, and the baby was only measuring 11 weeks. I should have been 14 1/2 to 15 weeks. I had a D&C yesterday. My BP started to rise around 10 we...

Re: Hypertension vs Pre-eclamsia

Thank you Christina89. I unfortunately had a misscarriage and had a D&C yesterday. I would have been 15 weeks, but when we went for a normal appt. there was no heartbeat. I had an ultrasound and the baby was 11 weeks. I am interested that you were put on medication because when I had the bp issues b...
