Thank you girls, I think we figured it out - at least for now :) Pumping a little before latching helped the most - it also made my breasts less full and he had easier time latching, and being patient and trying over and over again is paying off. I am lucky to have plenty of milk and the skills/expe...

I was on baby asa, Lovenox 40 daily since 7-8 weeks ( heartbeat) and labetalol. No, nothing stop pre-e, but my MFM is a "lovenox" believer. I also rested a lot and hoped for the best, in addition to growth scans every 2-3 weeks. Good luck !

anybody has any advice on nursing a late preterm preemie? i have plenty of milk but most of the time my guy just hangs out at my breast with the nipple in his mouth (kind of funny) or fusses .. i experienced low bp while on labetalol 600-800 a day around 30-31 weeks. i was dizzy and my bp was 110/65 range. i cut down on the med and as expected bp stared going up after about 2-3 weeks. i do not think it was because i relaxed once i hit a relatively safe gestational age .. it just happened. ...

Hi Flori,
My MFM was just fine with generic Lovenox- enoxaparin. For the brand my insurance co pay would be about $10/shot.
As part of hospital employee benefit I was getting it for free.
The generic must be a lot cheaper - my insurance paid $230 and I paid only $5 for 7 shots.
