Re: Milestones?

What a relief! So glad it turned out ok. My ankles started to swell this week too, but bp and dipstick are good, and the swelling did improve with rest. I was kind of freaking out thinking this was the end. But I'm at 37 weeks, so it would be a world of difference if I had to be done now. My midwife...

Re: Milestones?

I will be 36 weeks tomorrow, so today was my last dose of aspirin! Woo hoo! Now everyone is commenting about how big I'm getting and how big the baby will be. I need to keep reminding myself that the comments are way better than the alternative! I'm 3 weeks past my son's delivery milestone! I can ha...

Re: Milestones?

Hooray for more milestones! Isn't it amazing seeing those rolling movements!? I didn't feel much with DS, and this baby is a mover! So different.

I'm 35 weeks tomorrow! I can hardly believe it. I'm so grateful.

Re: Milestones?

Just wanted to add...my MIL is a totally manipulative, selfish, guilt-tripping PITA too!! I often wonder how my husband turned out so great. It's definitely a trade-off! :D

Re: Pregnant again - what monitoring should I expect ??

I have seen mixed information on what your chances are of having it again. The most important thing is to get good prenatal care so you can know if things start to go wrong. I am with a group of midwives who collaborate with an MFM for high risk cases. I was afraid they would not be able to care for...

Re: Milestones?

Passed a pretty important one on monday, which I posted about. That was 32 weeks 6 days, when I was admitted to the hospital with my first. The next big one will be 33 weeks, the day my son was delivered via c-section after a long and difficult failed induction on mag... I look at my feet first thin...

Re: Numb Fingers

My fingers, hands, and arms fall asleep a lot in bed. My fingers fell asleep today just talking on the phone with my sister today. It's pretty common in pregnancy. Your circulation changes so much, even in a normal pregnancy. Things swell and spread and other things get pinched and scrunched. If you...

Re: Having baby!!

Hip hooray! So happy for you! I'm sorry you ended up in surgery, but that's very common when you're on mag. Try to walk a little every day (like to the nicu of course!). That really helped with my c-section recovery. Sounds like you'll all be home in no time. Congratulations!!
