Hi! I just wanted to say that I know this is stressful, but try to relax, you're doing all that you can, and you're SO close to making it to the 30's! That's fantastic! Here's hoping that the 24 hr collection goes well and you make it all the way! Lauren

Re: 2 years later

Hi BBC, I'm so sorry about the loss of your son. There is no pain that is comparable, it makes total sense to me that 2 years after his death you still mourn him. I have not lost a child, so I don't know that kind of deep, unending pain. I have experienced the shock and pain of developing preeclamps...

Re: Pregnant 5 years after...

That's great that your pregnancy has been uneventful! Mine has been good up until two weeks ago. My blood pressures have been great this pregnancy(100's-110's/60's-70's) , def. better than my last, and better than when I'm not pregnant (normally I'm prehypertensive). Since week 20, my blood pressure...

Re: Pregnant 5 years after...

Hi! I don't have an uplifting story, but I wanted to commiserate with you bc I too had a baby 10 weeks early 5 years ago and am now 22 weeks pregnant. It is a daily effort to tell myself that I am doing all that I can, am receiving the best possible care, and am taking care of myself the best I can....

Re: 20 weeks and getting nervous

I like that approach of double checking with the doctor about technique, I'll do that next time, thanks for the advice! :-)

Re: 20 weeks and getting nervous

I just came back from the level 2 ultrasound and it was very reassuring. I'm 22 weeks and all of baby's measurements are right on target. I spoke with the MFM about my recent uptick in bp's, and he said to keep monitoring at home, 2x/day and keep a log. If my pressures become hypertensive, I'll get ...

Re: 20 weeks and getting nervous

Thanks for the reply! This Wednesday I have my level 2 ultrasound, I'm looking forward to that being ok! The mfm told me during counseling that he chooses not to perform uterine blood vessel dopplers bc there is a high occurrence of false positives with that test and even if there is extensive notch...

20 weeks and getting nervous

Hi there, I'm 20 weeks this week, and so far, up til a few days ago, my blood pressure had been REALLY good, especially for me. Before I got pregnant, I was pre-hypertensive (120-139/80-89), then when I got pregnant, it seems like immediately, my blood pressure was fantastic - 100-110/60's-low 70's....
