Re: 22 week ultrasound/ 30th percentile

My first baby hovered around the 30th percentile and was between 6-9 days behind for much of the pregnancy and didn't drop percentiles (I think the lowest was 13) until my blood pressure started to get very high. If your pressures are normal and the baby has been growing consistently, there is nothi...

Re: So far so good! (UPDATED - No Pre-e or HELLP this time!)

Great news! I had the baby last month with no preeclampsia or HELLP! She was born on her due date and has been doing great! I tried for a vbac and very nearly got it, but after pushing for two hours they realized she was trying to come out face up and coudn't get over my pubic bone. But, this c-sect...

Re: So far so good!

UPDATE! I am currently 39 weeks 2 days pregnant, and things have been going great so far! The only bump was a 24-hour urine test I took (and passed) a few weeks ago after a urine sample sent to the lab on suspicion of a UTI turned up a little bit. It was probably related to the UTI, though, since it...

Re: What position was your placenta in with your PE?

With my first it was anterior and I got pre-e at 31weeks and HELLP at 32 with delivery a few days later. This time I'm 32 weeks with a placenta at the top of the uterus last they checked. My BP has creeped up a bit but isn't hypertensive yet. Crazy that there might be a connection somehow. I hope re...

Re: Experts, I need your help.

I've run into this too, with people asking whether I'm taking better care of myself now since this pregancy is going great and the first one was a disaster. In reality, I took much better care of myself my first pregnancy and this time around I've been pigging out on mcdonalds and cookies and have g...

Re: So far so good! - UPDATE

I'm SO sorry about your loss, mychaelelaine! I hope your current pregnancy is going better! My mom has lupus that was triggered by her pregnancy with me, and I know how hard a disease it is to live with. :( Right now, I'm 30w 6d with normal blood pressure, no protein in my urine, but a bit of swelli...

So far so good! (UPDATED - No Pre-e or HELLP this time!)

My first pregnancy was a bit of a disaster - 8 week ultrasound showed swelling and the docs told us it was a VERY bad sign, but it resolved, then from about 8 weeks to 22 weeks I had sciatica so severe I couldn't walk and had to quit my job, then at 22 w eeks I developed PIH, was put on meds at 26 w...
