Re: Anyone due in January/February 2017?

I just had my second at the end of May, so while I can't be with you in terms of the timeline, I will offer advice that I wish I'd done :) The beginning of the pregnancy was all very good (aside from the nausea, fatigue and other normal joys hehe) and I was much more relaxed than I thought I'd be. M...

Re: Pregnant!

A little late posting this, but Baby Girl was born May 27th at 39 weeks! I officially reached gestational hypertension pressures at that point, but no other signs of pre-e!! And no cholestasis. My induction was only 6 hours and only required a tiny amount of pitocin which eventually got turned off. ...

Re: Pregnant!

Hi everyone, I'm 37 and 4 today. The whole pregnancy my BP stayed below 120/80 (often close to this, but never above). Over the past 1.5 week, I'm slowly creeping. My systolic are 120's-130's/mid-upper 80's diastolics. Any advice on how to keep the panic down would be great - I'm super sensitive to ...

Pregnant!

Hi everyone, Awhile back I posted on the 'thinking about trying again' board. Well I'm 23 weeks along! Things are going well so far but considering I'm heading into the scary zone, thought I'd get back on here. My first pregnancy was complicated by severe preeclampsia and cholestasis of pregnancy bu...

Re: Thinking about trying again

Thanks! It went pretty well! The doctor was knowledgable and understanding and didn't have the air of arrogance that I experienced at a different large hospital with my 1st pregnancy. We talked about low-dose aspirin starting around 12-weeks, along with seeing MFM at that point for baseline labs and...

Re: Liver Enzymes still high postpartum...?

Hello, Being a new mom is hard enough on its own, let alone having your own health concerns as you try to care for your new baby! We understand :) Do you know how high they were in the hospital? And how often have they been checked postpartum? Generally once they start trending downward they'll keep...

Thinking about trying again

Hello everyone, I have never posted on here but found the board very reassuring as I struggled with postpartum health issues following my 1st pregnancy. My pregnancy was complicated by cholestasis and severe preeclampsia. The last month of pregnancy, delivery and postpartum (complicated) recovery we...
