Re : How high was your BP when you were put on meds?

I was put on Procardia when I was getting BP's of 160/100 at home. I later switched to Labetalol bc the procardia wasn't working well at all and was giving my palpitations and racing pulse episodes. Labetalol was wonderful for slowing my pulse and easing those awful palpitations.

Re : What if????

<t>We always said we were stopping at two. However, every once in a while I keep thinking I can't be done bearing children. I mean just like that, it's over? No more pregnancy, no more prenatal visits, no more ultrasounds where I see the baby and bawl my eyes out... no more peeing on pregnancy tests...

Re : Called the doc - now I feel silly

Re : High Blood Pressure after delivering the Baby

I was told labetalol was safe for nursing. I went off of it the morning of delivery and haven't had one since that day but I BF'd her within an hour of birth. I also had a mag drip for 24 hours and was allowed to BF the baby.

Re : I want a another baby, but don't want a c-section

<t>I just read this for the first time... I will admit I mourn the loss of a natural progression of labor and since my last is here and there will be no more, there is no hope for me to do this the "natural" way... going into labor on my own and rushing there to have the baby... no... I get induced ...

Re : 6 week PP checkup

<t>Oh, DH is completely smitten with our girls. He will say he would have liked to have a boy but adds that now that Ruthie is here he can't imagine things being any other way. :) His dad asked repeatedly after our u/s if they were sure we had a girl (wanted a boy to carry on the family name) but no...

Re : 6 week PP checkup

<t>Thanks for the feedback. I am concerned about the possiblity of other things being there, but maybe my rheumatologist will test some other things for me. <br/> <br/> We had decided going into this that two kids was it for us. I fimd myself thinking "this is the last time we'll do ____ with this b...

6 week PP checkup

<t>It went well. :) I had a great BP despite the nurse asking if I was going to try for a boy as she was taking it. [:D] I am very happy with two healthy, living girls thankyouverymuch. [8D] We wouldn't have cared what gender our kids were considering the PE both times. Healthy was all I wanted. Any...
