Re: 5 weeks
Weeeelllll, I spontaneously went into labour on Sunday at exactly 33 weeks! :o Baby boy was 3 lbs 5.6 oz and is doing well in NICU. Now we have a 4/5 birthday and two 4/7 birthdays! The first week of April looks like it will always be pretty busy for us! I was so depressed and desperate to get out o...

5 weeks
I have now been in the hospital for 5 weeks. I will be 33 weeks on Sunday. I am losing my mind. I have seen my children twice for a total of 5 hours. :( I rarely see my husband because we live over an hour from the hospital and gas is so expensive. Today is my youngest's 5th birthday. I am heartbrok...

Re: Wanting to hear other stories
I had pre-e in m first and 3rd pregnancies. The pre-e in my 3rd was more severe. In my 5th, I had Class I HELLP Syndrome. So my point is, there are just some of us who defy conventional wisdom and go off in weird directions. <sigh> With my 6th, I was on bedrest in the hospital from week 34-36, when ...

Inpatient bedrest
So, how do you make it work? I have been in since March 1st (save 3 days early on) and the stress is maddening and driving us around the bend. Dh is dealing with work and kids and trying to see me and I am dealing with boredom and depression and loneliness. The hospital is about an hour away, with g...

That sounds like a good plan. I think it is also a fairly typical one for mamas in our situations. (((hugs)))

Weekend in the hospital
I went for an appt on Friday, was admitted, and was released yesterday. My peri figures I can be home for another 2-3 weeks before going back in to the hospital until delivery. I am 28 weeks. I have never had things start sliding downhill this early. It has always been after 30 weeks with delivery b...

Re: How long?
Well, it doesn't matter at this point as I have been on it for over a week with no change and I see my dr on Friday. I'll just see what he says.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: Quadrant Pain and spots in vision
Vision sparkles can be part of a normal (healthy) pregnancy. I am also experiencing upper quadrant pain that is so similar to the pain when I had HELLP. My peri thoroughly checked it out and the best we can figure is it is heartburn. Stay on top of each symptom and keep checking with your doctor to ...

How long?
I have been on atenolol the whole pregnancy and the dr just added hydralazine on Tuesday. I haven't seen a change in bp yet. How long does it usually take? (I took 3 doses on Tuesday, 4 yesterday and one so far today.)
