Re : PE in subsequent pregnancies

<t>Hi had PE with my first baby. After that I had 4 PE free pregnacies. Baby #6 I had Eclampsia at 29 weeks. DH had a vasectomy very shortly after her birth (5 weeks) he rushed into that and immediately regretted it. A few months later he had it reversed and we had baby #7 PE free. I am currently ex...

Re : Anyone have an oopsie right away after PE?

<t>I won't call her an oopsie but we had a wonderful surprise about 5 months after my first PE pregnancy. With my first I had a horizontal incision. I Was induced with the the second at 42 weeks but it ended in another c-section- I just don't go into labor. There was no sign of PE with that or the n...

Re : BP question for those who are chronic

<t>Not sure where I am without meds but with meds good readings have been 136/75 or so. More typically thought I am in the 140's and 150's/ 80's. I go up some days much higher. They don't seem concerned as long as my diastolic stays below 95. I am being watched carefully and I totally trust my OB, a...

BP question for those who are chronic

For those who are chronic I am wondering what kind of bps your drs consider OK, and when it goes up from your pre preganancy levels without other things going on (protein, etc) what is it called?

Interesting/Good NST experience

<t>I went for my weekly NST Friday. I ended up with 3 different nurses taking care of me. Two had been there since I had my first baby 17 yrs ago the third was younger. She is the one who got me started and took all my info and symptoms I had been having. When I told her about possible epigastric pa...

Visual disturbances

What have these been like for everyone? Mine in previous pregnacies with PE have been the seeing stars type, this time too until the last few days. Now they are just gray/black floaters.

Re : Betamethasone

Nurse today said all my complaints were side effects. Still flush and have the funny tast but she went for my rear end instead of thigh today and it was not anywhere near as unpleasant, no soreness or achy joints.

Betamethasone

<t>I love my Dr. He is very calm, but is very thorough in my care. I am 27 weeks. Yesterday he sent me for some monitoring and labs at the hospital due to high bp in office, headaches, nausea, etc. And just slipped in the betamethasone just in case. Last time I had the injection was almost 6 yrs ago...
