I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your son. <br/> <br/> Level 2 is something to look forward to. I remember those hospital weeks very well and Special Care was ...

Amelia is here - and no pre-e!

<t>Amelia Helen was born last Monday by scheduled c-section at 39 weeks! She's lovely, 7lb 10oz, and doing great. <br/> <br/> I am happy to say that I had no signs of hbp or pre-e during this pregnancy. I wish I hadn't worried so much, but I'm sure everyone here knows how hard that is...<br/> <br/> ...

Re : Packed for hospital!

I'm throwing in some gum to refresh my mouth and cranberry juice in case it helps stave off a UTI from the catheter. I'm packing today!!

Re : uncertain - is bp creeping or am I paranoid?

Keep us posted! You and I are at the same stage and delivering just two days apart so I'm really rooting for you! I stopped checking my b.p. daily when I hit 32 weeks but after reading your post I think I will start again.

Re : Anyone else making the assumption pe is on the way

<t>I thought it would come back for sure but as it turns out I'm now at 35.5 weeks without any problems and I suspect I might go all the way. That said, I found it wildly frustrating that my doctor just assumed it wouldn't come back. I'm glad he might be right, but I felt that we should be taking a ...

c-section veteran to interview?

<t>Hi! I'm a regular on the "Pregnant Again" board (expecting #2 in four weeks, yikes). I am also a journalist writing a magazine article about having a better c-section. I noticed that a lot of you have had more than one c-section and I'm hoping to find someone to interview by telephone for my arti...

Re : 34 wks, and in the hopsital till the end...

Woah, rough luck. I hope you can get your hands on some good magazines or books (books on tape were my favorite in hospital) and maybe some family-size chocolate bars. It won't be a picnic but the wait isn't long now...(easy to say, I know, since the days drag in the hospital).

Re : C-section tips??

<t>I am really going to need that rope tied to the bed--I can barely roll out of my bed now and am wondering if it is time to buy a new, very firm mattress. These tips are great! <br/> My doctor told me today that a scheduled c-section can be a really worry-free experience, especially compared with ...
