Re: Welcome Gabriel!

Lauren, Yes we are both home. Wow, he feeds every 2 hours or less and grunts most of the night. We are sleepless but making it ok. Gabriel is gaining weight well so no worries on that. My BP has decreased but is still not normal. It ranges 130s/95-100. But, it has come down quite a bit since I deliv...

Re: Welcome Gabriel!

Update: we have graduated to the last room in the NICU. They call this feeders and growers. Gabriel is breathing fine. He is maintaining his temperature. Our jaundice scare was only a scare. And I think he has learned to suck. He still has an NG tube to top off his feedings. They want him eating 35 ...

Heather, I was actually told not to get pregnant after my 1st. I dind't listen and actually spoke to several doctors about the future pregnancies. I never got an affirmative answer in either direction. My 2nd and 3rd (only live births) were with a different father than #1. My MFM told me that it wou...

Re: Post Partum Testing/Care

I have to be in a week pp and then if things are going well, a 6 week pp appointment. Interesting that you asked about future issues after pre-e. I was never told anything except I would get it again and probably should consider not having children. I'm not kidding. I found out about the cardio/bp i...

Welcome Gabriel!

Hi everyone! On Monday of last week (9th), I went in for OB appointment. I had an ultrasound first and then an NST. On Monday, I was 36 +1. When I saw my doctor, she said, "It's time. He's not growing anymore, there seems to be problems with the placenta, and your blood pressures are high." I felt l...

Re: Evicting Baby Tomorrow

Lauren, so sorry about the symptoms not going away! I hope in the next COUPLE of days (at most) everything gets back to normal. I'm so glad both of you are now going home and good luck with everything. Your news is uplifting to me as I will be 36w1d tomorrow.
Prayers and hugs,
Mistie
