Pre-eclampsia and anxiety or ptsd?
<t>Just a curious question- does anyone here know of any studies done regarding the number of occurences with pre-eclampsia and post traumatic stress disorder or even anxiety? <br/> <br/> I'm not sure if there would be a correlation or not. Just speaking from anecdotal experience...I had severe pre-...

Re : Preeclampsia Link?
<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> I know from personal experience that you do not have to have a "hereditary" link to get PE. No one in my family had it and I had Eclampsia/HELLP at 32 weeks. I think the PF foundations says it affects 1 in 12 pregnancies, so although there appears to be somewhat of a genetic link, ...

Re : Please keep this girl in your thoughts/prayers
<t>Update as of Monday, 11am<br/> <br/> Mom and baby are both stable. They found out that she was actually 28 weeks along instead of 26 (I was wrong on the estimation) so they gave her son an 80% chance of survival. Apparently she is responding well to meds and her BP has gone down- which is good. A...

Please keep this girl in your thoughts/prayers
<t>Hello All- <br/> Sorry it's been a while since I last posted- but I'm messaging you to ask for your prayers for a friend of mine (she's actually a co-worker). She had sudden severe onset PE tonight and a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lung?) and they had to take the baby. She was 27 weeks....

<t>One method that you might want to at least consider is that of using the calendar plus barrier contraception for your most fertile times....i.e. if you can definitely tell when you ovulate every month, then for your most fertile days (which some sites say are days 10-20, depending on ovulation), ...

Re : So frustrated by my "white coat" problem
<t>You're definitely not the only one and not crazy. It's been 2 1/2 years for me now and while my bp runs at home (even under stress) around 110/68, at the Drs. the lowest it is it 120/80. When I went back for a preconception appt. with one of the peris who saw me in the hospital (and it was the fi...
