I got PE with my second pregnancy, however, it kicked in just after 36 weeks so they were able to deliver immediately.
If you are being monitored by a specialist, you're in good hands - they know what to look for.

I started at 6 weeks - 1 x Clexane injection p/day
Upped to 2 x per day from 14 weeks (if I remember correctly)
