Had our little guy
<t>On Tuesday we had our little guy Jaden Teague, born at 35.5 weeks due to chronic hypertension. I was discharged today and we had to leave him there. I am heartbroken.<br/> <br/> The very very short of it, My bp's were slowly increasing even with bp meds 4x's a day. Dr. B was very concerned about ...

Re : keeping my fingers and toes crossed.... UPDATE!!!
<t>I was told that if there is any line at all, it pretty much means a positive result, as long as you didn't hold it wrong (which I'm not sure what is right or wrong). I'm totally OCD though and probably tested like 3 or 4 days in a row even after I saw my light pink line. Each time it was very lig...

We have a due date
<t>I'm not really sure where to post this so I'll just put it here. I am 35 weeks today and have been dredging along with chronic hypertension. My OB and MFM have decided to take the baby next Tuesday (Nov 21) when I am 36 weeks. This I hear is a standard time as long as things are going "normal" en...

Re : Car Seat Safety
<t>We just bought the Britax Regent for our son who just turned 3 last week. He is already 38lbs and most 5pt harnesses only go up to 40lbs. Britax is the ONLY carseat that has a 5pt harness that goes over 40lbs. The Marathon goes to 65 and the Regent goes to 80lbs. The regent is a HUGE seat, but I ...

Re : Introducing a new baby to her big sister...
<t>We talk about the baby all the time, plus my DS has seen all my Bradley video's with me, so he is very certain where the baby is coming from. We talk about the things they are going to share together such as momma's eats (breasts), momma's bed, sean's toys, sean's baby clothes, sean's sling, etc....

Re : big difference between top and bottom bp numbers
Thanks. I have an appointment today and wanted to know how much I should push this or not. She is taking good care of me and I'm doing all I can, so I'll let her know I'm concerned about it and then see what she has to add.

big difference between top and bottom bp numbers
<t>My top and bottom bp numbers have been at extremes it seems. I am having bp's like 181/81 or 170/84, 150/70. These seem to be pretty far apart to me. I am seeing my OB 2 times a week for bioprofiles and NST's and everything with the baby is just fine, but I feel like I am a walking time bomb. My ...
