The docs where I work want you to take it sitting on your right arm after 5 minutes of rest. That is weird it varies so much for you. Good Luck at your appointment. Tina

a normal pulse rate is between 60-100 for a resting adult. Your BP and pulse do increase with exercise out of the normal values but not to extreme highs. Hope this helped, Tina
