Re : Blood Pressure Question??

<t>I was on medication for 4 months after my daughter was born. I was initially on two meds (clonidine and the highest possible dosage of Labetalol), then weaned to just the labetalol and eventually came off that. The four months I was on meds seemed like forever and I thought it would never get bac...

Re : re: vision problems after PE

<t>Thanks for your previous responses to this topic. Since my original post, the eye doctor has diagnosed my blurriness as corneal edema. (I awake with blurred vision in the right eye about once every two weeks - it lasts for a day and then clears right up). While the doctor has found no serious und...

Re : Morning sickness and PE

I had no morning sickness or nausea at all and absolutely no other discomforts for the first six months, then my PE hit very suddenly. I don't know if there is a link, but this was my experience. This is an interesting question though.

Re : A little concerned..but I had my baby 3 months ago

<t>It took about 5 months after delivery for my blood pressure to get back to normal. I came home from the hospital on meds and was back in outpatient a week later for BP readings as high as 180/100. I was on the highest dosage possible of labetalol and so they added clonidine, which brought it way ...

Re : Anyone experienced blurred vision?

<t>I just found this topic and wanted to comment as I have had recent vision problems. My PE was almost two years ago and I have had chronic problems with blurry vision in the right eye, which occurs every 10 days or so in the morning and then clears up. I have been through several diagnoses with th...

Re : QOOD: CALLING ALL PE ALUMNA: Did'ja get mag?

<t>I developed severe PE very suddenly at 30 weeks. I went to OB due to concerns about swelling and hazy vision. He immediately sent me to the hospital for emergency c-section, which was performed about 2 hours later. Upon arrival at the hospital, my BP was aobut 200/100 and protein 4+ and I had gai...

re: vision problems after PE

<t>I'm wondering if anyone has had vision problems after having PE. I have had problems with dry eyes, as well as periodic blurriness in one eye every few weeks which lasts about a day or two. It doesn't interfere with driving or general activities, but causes problems with computer use or reading. ...

Re : Swollen ankles (not pregnant)

<t>I wanted to add to this post because I have had some weird symptoms since my bout with PE in June 05. One of these has been some periodic swelling under my ankle on one side along with a bit of numbness on the left side of my heel under the same ankle. My regular doctor originally said that I had...
