Re : after reveiwing my labs...
<t>Betsy, I think it's very normal to feel that way after everything we have gone through. Although Audrey's birth was attended by a very "by the books" dr(he was great), it still took well over a year before I could stop thinking about it all the time. Avery's dr was not so great(let me go home wit...

Re : Advice on easing into daycare?
<t>Tracey,<br/> <br/> You might be surprised to find that daycare might actually bring Lily out of her shell. Avery was 2 when I put her in daycare. She has always been the shy, reserved type and has never really wanted to play with other kids. In fact, she'd cry around other people. I didn't have a...

Re : High blood pressure forever??
<t>Marlee,<br/> <br/> After DD1, my pressures were on the very high side of normal at 6wks. By three months, it was back down to 120/80. After DD2, my bps were very very high at 6wks and had come down to something manageable with meds by 3 months. My DD2 turned 2 in Dec and I'm still on meds and pro...

<t>You're right, it is an antihistamine. It can be given to boost appetite or for over-activity. Audrey's ped gave it to us for her hyper-activity. It worked real well at calming her down...it put her right to sleep:) She took 2 tsp at night. I didn't notice her eating more when she took it, though....

<t>Sabrina,<br/> <br/> A friend of mine had this happen to her, also. She paid with a credit card and left a cash tip. The waitress went back and added a tip to her CC. She noticed it the next day and called the manager. He apologized and refunded her money. I would be furious if this happened to me...

Re : Sappy song suggestions? UPDATED
If you want sappy, how about Butterfly Kisses? That song makes me tear up everytime I hear it. I thought is was by Aaron Neville, but now I'm not so sure.

<t>Hey Melissa,<br/> <br/> I'm sorry about the loss of your twins. I don't have any experience with clotting disorders(as I have never had all the blood tests done to check for underlying disorders) or cerclages. Just wanted to welcome you and tell you good luck.<br/> <br/> Let us know what the dr s...

Re : Ready to go off the deep end!
<t>Audrey was diagnosed with asthma about 2 months before she got RSV. We spent the next two years with her coughing so bad at night she would throw up. I finally switched peds and had him give us an ENT appt and had her tonsils and adenoids removed. We went a full year with no coughing. When she st...
