Re : Very Red Bottom

<t>Definately not fun to see them in so much pain. I have no ideas regarding what might have caused this; however, my doc recommended Calmoseptine and it works like a charm. It is not prescription but you have to ask the pharmacy for it since they keep in behind the counter. It also has pain reliver...

Re : If they delivered you at 37 weeks NICU??

I had 2 37 weekers...my son was in the NICU for 24 hour observation. He ingested some fluid during delivery (c-section). Both babies came home with me.

Re : Labetalol safety during pg

<t>I was on labetelol and hydrochlorathiazide with my last pregnancy and just delivered a healthy baby last week. I know the hydro. is not common to take during pregnancy, but I guess my benefits outweighed the risks. I was lucky to not need a medication increase for the entire pregnancy and I did n...

Baby is safely here!

<t>I am just now getting to my computer. I made it to 39 weeks as scheduled, without a major increase in BP!!!! On 9/18/08 at 7:54 am, Andrew Paul made his way into this world via c-section. He was 8 pounds, 4 ounces and 21 inches long. He had some problems with regulating his blood sugar for the fi...

Re : New here - expecting 3rd

<t>Our situations are a little different; however, I felt that I was almost pushing my luck having #3. Here I am, scheduled to deliver c-section on Thursday AM after experiencing the most normal pregnancy of the three. I entered this pregnancy with chronic hypertension after #2 and thought for sure ...

Re : Cesarean Incision Questions??

<t>I have had two c-sections and the first was more difficult to recover from for some reason. I do not remember exactly how long I had the pain you are describing; however, I am pretty sure I had my pain meds refilled once-I can't remember if I finished the second one completely. I also found that ...

Re : Baby aspirin to "prevent" pre-e

<t>I was put on LDA by a Peri at the high risk clinic at the hospital at 20 weeks and just discontinued at 36 weeks. I have had a very stable pregnancy so far, not sure if it is the LDA or a coincidence. My OB seems indifferent either way, probably because no one is for sure how much it helps or hin...

Re : Educational Info on Taking BP?

<t>Last week at my BPP I got a BP of 90/50...that is freakishly low for me. I also thought it was funny that the auto cuff would tighten up, start to take my BP, then tighten up again. I have had mostly REALLY low readings there. Anyway, at the appt. last week, I asked her to take it again. She took...

37 weeks and counting!

<t>Just wanted to update that I had my 37 week appointment today and everything remains fine and stable. This is my FIRST pregnancy where I have not been delivered at 37 weeks to the day-I guess the third time is a charm. BP is creeping up, still has not warranted a medication increase. I know that ...
