I'm glad you're going in. 34 weeks is a good place to be.

Re: bad headache/ bp not bad

Hi,

I'm so sorry you're going through this.

I would absolutely call them. Headaches are a serious symptom. Tell them about your headache with those pressures and let them decide. Going in for no reason is SO MUCH better than not going in when you should have.

Let us know what happens,

Angie, I understand and share your concern - you are a good friend. I had a doctor like this in my second pregnancy. WOuld not take my home bps seriously, thought I was a worrier - it was awful. I knew I had to be proactive and when I switched doctors and hospitals, the new one took me seriously imm...

PE

Hi there, I also always dreamed of a large family ... four, five ... more? But I developed PE twice severely, once at 24/5 weeks - though I was able to wait on hospital bedrest until 34 weeks to deliver - the second time at 27 weeks after having been put on modified bed rest at around 16 weeks and t...

She was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us. I'm so sorry that this disease has taken her from you. I am glad you found these forums - they have been a lifeline for many of us who went through severe PE and HELLP. I read your post filled with love and longing and didn't want t...

Re: unilateral notching

Oh, those photos are precious! I had unilateral notching with my second. It was discovered around 20 weeks and the doctor thought it would go away. She told me that many normal pregnancy show some notching early on that just away on its own. It didn't and though I did develop PE, I delivered at 38 w...

There are no words ... I am so deeply sad and sorry to hear what you have had to go through. You and sweet baby Janelle are in my thoughts and prayers. Life can be so desperately cruel. Sending you and your family strength and warmth during this awful time,

Re: Woke up with pitting edema...

I'm so sorry you have to go through this. IMO pressures of 155/105 are too high and I'd go to the hospital. Do you think if you went to see this same doctor and he got those figures, he'd send you home? Please let us know how you are,

Angel Baby Remembrance Concert in NYC

I wanted to let you know that, inspired by her work with Field of Cradles and the beautiful words of many mother involved in the exhibit, who have also posted here, healing performer Amy Robbins-Wilson has created an album of lullabies that honor angel babies and their parents. She sang beautifully ...
