Re : 3rd time around? it will happen again?

<t>I had severe PE with my first two pregnancies (35 and 32 week deliveries) and went to almost 37 PE free with my 3rd (preterm labor got me on the 3rd). My doctors were very serious about my care though- even though everything looked good up until the end. I was going in for non-stress tests 2-3 ti...

Re : Baby #2 Outcomes: Are you part of the statistic?

<t>I got much sicker with my 2nd than my first, and much earlier. Although, they didn't let me get as sick with my first since I was farther along so we know the longer you wait the sicker you get. I was 35 weeks with severe preeclampsia with the first so they just delivered the baby rather than wai...

Re : Fighting how to take BP already!

<t>The laying on the side for BP taking was one of my biggest frustrations in all of my pregnancies that I would fight but usually no one would listen, so as soon as the cuff went on and they got their first reading I would sit myself up so I knew what it really was after that. I would love to have ...

Re : MFM and OB visits?

Saw the MFM monthly- OB every other week. Now I am doing twice a week non-stress as well with the OB- that started at 34 weeks. They also check my pressures/protein at the NST as well as talk about any concerns.

Re : Do you always swell with PE?

<t>I also had crazy swelling with my PE pregnancies- to the tune of 10 lbs a week... Oh I got huge! One of my close friends saw pictures of me in the hospital and said, " I wouldn't even have known it was you." <br/> <br/> I have also developed tachy this pregnancy. My doctor was concerned that my r...
