Re: I chickened out of my peri appointment

You have been through so much I am not surprised if you are not ready yet. You still have plenty of time to think about this. Maybe you just need to put this to one side for now and focus on enjoying your son for a bit longer. I wish I could say something more helpful .. good luck whatever you do.

Re: Anyone had VERY early preeclampsia? Trying or tried agai

I had pre-eclampsia symptoms from 25 weeks and my first daughter was stillborn at 26. my next pregnancy was normal (apart from a malpresentation - transverse lie - at the end). I am now 35 weeks on pregnancy 3, also normal. I was given a estimate of risk recurrence of 30-50% for the second pregnancy...

Re: starting to show cardiovascular disease problems

I'm a scientist not a medic but this is my research area. The thing is probably all of us (pre-eclampsia or not) have mild plaque build up in our arteries from childhood / early adulthood. So this might be "normal" (even if not ideal). You should be asking your cardiologist whether yours is more tha...

Re: 41 year old TTC again after losing IVF baby to severe PE

I am so sorry to hear about your little boy. I lost my first baby 3 days before my 38th birthday due to very sudden onset severe PE at 26 weeks. I recognise all the emotions you are going through. I hate to think of someone else having to experience all this. It is just dreadful and I completely und...

Re: Sonogram Update

Oh, I am so so sorry it didn't go better for you and Julia. I can imagine how terrifying this must be now. I am really hoping this is a measurement error - when my Alice had stopped growing she had also stopped moving (and I had a single notch and BP 200+/100+ etc.). Measurement errors do occur, eve...

Re: Preelampsia at 24 Weeks

I am in the UK too and as you can see I luckily had a very different ending in the 2nd pregnancy after my first tragic pregnancy in 2009. I am happy to talk with you if this might help at all. So very very sorry to hear about your baby girl .... There is no evidence stress is related to PE. I was mu...
