Re: grwoth scans - cause for worry?

Thanks for your reply : ) I had another scan and baby is holding at the 54th centile so I am relieved. She was 87th then 54th and again three weeks later 54th so I am not worried as long as it doesn't keep dropping. She is footling breech however but that I can deal with. A baby who is not growing w...

grwoth scans - cause for worry?

Hi there I was told that baby was in the 87th centile at 19 weeks and at 27 weeks baby was in 54th. My OB wasn't concerned (but he isn't about most things) but my MW suggested a scan next week to check. I know it is generally when baby drops below 25th that it is problematic but am I being paranoid ...

Re: New and needing advice :0

Congrats on your 4th pregnancy! I am 29 weeks on my 4th too : ) In your situation and with your history, to be honest I wouldn't wait 2.5 weeks. If you have had problems with your liver in the past pregnancies and your are experiencing nausea, vomiting and headaches that would be enough for me to se...

Re: Should I be relieved or concerned??

Well I saw my OB again today. He was not worried at all that baby has gone from 85th percentile at 19weeks to 50th at 27 weeks. I wonder if some of that is to do with me now being on meds. My BP was 158/92 and he seemed content with that. I asked him to sign a letter to say I could go on a four hour...

Re: visit to MFM

are you on any meds for the BP? Some Drs tolerate higher BPs than others. My Dr is quite happy that I bob around 140-150/90-100 and I'm on meds. Thank goodness you are being monitored though. Good luck

Re: 3rd time's a charm?

I had PE at 34 weeks with my first, induced at 35 weeks. 2nd pregnancy BP was off by 33 weeks but no meds and was induced at 38 weeks with PE. Third pregnancy I had BP issues at 22 weeks and ended up on meds. I got to 36+6 til I was induced. This time around, number 4 and BP off at 17 weeks but am t...

Re: Headaces and BP not a concern..this is getting old fast

By class C do you mean codeine? I found it helpful to lessen the pain and pain increases BP so it helped two fold. Baby shouldn't be effected by it as long as it isn't taken close to delivery.

Re: anyone had a Dr that wouldn't sign them off to fly?

Thanks for the advice and your stories ladies! : ) I am hoping it will be no big deal also. Unfortunately our media in NZ is making a deal of pregnant women flying at the moment with a budget airline who are being inconsistent and preventing women from flying despite them not even being pregnant so ...
