Re: Questions For The Veterans

Thank you so much for the replies and for the questions to ask- I never would have thought of them but they clarify it so much! My BP has gone back down a little bit, ugh I think it is my wonky kidneys doing it :( I asked my OB about doing another U/S to check growth and he agreed so I have that sch...

Questions For The Veterans

Hi ladies, It's been awhile since I was last on here and I have some questions that I could use advice on. Here's some history- I had Preeclampsia which was not caught until I showed up in labor at the hospital during my 1st pregnancy and BP went down after delivery. I had post partum Preeclampsia w...

Re: Pregnant moms what are your average pulses?

My doctor keeps mentioning my fast heart beat and I'll be wearing a holter next week (I also have a lot of palpitations). My heart rate is between 75 and 130 but my heart rate is normally fast even while not pregnant. I was told that a fast heart rate during pregnancy is normal but mine is being che...

Anyone have experience with ***

I've been transferred to ********** in CA and am being seen by a high risk OB. Does anyone else have experience with how they handle Preeclampsia/PIH/those type of emergencies? I'm asking because they seem to really know what they're doing but after I saw my cardiologist yesterday he was not happy a...

Survivors in North OC/LA/Inland Empire?

I'm looking for women who could offer support and meet up from time to time. I know there are some groups in the making but if there's anyone out there who would like to meet up soon that would be great! I am pregnant with my 3rd and have been so down and scared, I wish there was someone else close ...

Re: One Of Those Days

I hate those kind of days, I'm having one today. I'm 14 weeks with #3 and this has been a tough pregnancy mentally. My husband doesn't quite understand but I've tried to explain it in the way that it's like standing in the middle of a road and your told car is going to come speeding down it but you ...

Re: Anyone w/ sponge or polycystic kidneys?

I don't have hypertension right now my BP has been good and low around 95/65 so it's just being monitored. After the PP Preeclampsia it took 3 months to get the BP back under control and I was weaned off of Labetalol. My BP rose a little bit but stays low for the most part after weaning off labetalo...

Re: Anyone w/ sponge or polycystic kidneys?

Hi! No I was diagnosed via ultrasound by the hospital then confirmed by my urologist. On the ultrasound it showed a lot of bubbles or "calcifications" inside the kidneys. I have bladder infections once every 2-3 months and so far have only had 1 kidney infection but no stones yet. There will be time...

Anyone w/ sponge or polycystic kidneys?

I was wondering if any other women have had Preeclampsia with a kidney disorder? I have sponge kidney and from what I've been told is that it's very rare so therefore not fully studied. No one can say if it causes hypertension during pregnancy but I honestly think it does. Isn't a lot of your BP con...
