Hi Sharon, You're asking the right questions. Sometimes hospitals don't want to transfer because they don't want to lose the business. Sometimes there really is no need to transfer. Adding to that, I would also see if your doctor can put you on reduced activity (aka, reduce your stress at work), not because it by itself will prevent preeclampsia but the stress could be contributing to your BP going all over the place, making it harder to get an accurate reading.

There's also an Israeli company doing some interesting work in this area, though we haven't gotten a briefing from them in awhile so I'm not sure what the latest is.
