Re: two year theory
I've been thinking about that too, Christa. I am nowhere near thinking about another little one. But it's something that needs to be planned for on the horizon. Thanks for asking the question.

Re: Baby Asprin and other tips....
I started baby aspirin prior to getting pregnant and Lovenox at 13 weeks. I would have started Lovenox earlier if I had been able to get an appointment sooner.
Angie, you're knocked up again? Congratulations! I guess I've missed out a lot on what's going on around these parts.

Re: Unable to breastfeed and milk supply
Oh my goodness. You pumped for 10 months?! How often were you pumping? It gets hard with work, and duties at home. You have put in a valiant effort, and after sticking with this for 3 months now, through the stress of his GI issues and hospitalization and interrupted nursing with hospital bottle fee...

Re: We have to supplement :(
Jean, we could talk for hours about this. I know I'm a little late posting, but I've had a crazy feeding experience. As I've mentioned in other posts, I'm on domperidone, which has helped my milk supply considerably. Lucas gets 2 bottles of formula a day so he can get his iron and other vitamins, pl...

Re: Happy to see all the near term mommies
When I was strolling through the boards I noticed from the posters that if they did get preeclampsia it happened at the very end of pregnancy or they got postpartum. When I got closer to 37 weeks and all my labs and blood pressures looked great, I started to worry less about that and worried about p...

Re: Unable to breastfeed and milk supply
I'm on domperidone now and I am still able to pump and bottle feed him. I really hope I can make it to 6 months. But between work and not pumping as often I feel I am starting to dry up, even with the domperidone. At this point I feel I have done all I can to keep my milk supply up. If I don't make ...

Re: 14 Weeks and BP Is Already High
My first pregnancy didn't go so well and we lost our son when he was born at 24 weeks. After that I worked with my MFM and OB who came up with a plan for me that involved aspirin, Lovenox shots, and all the other popular stuff ladies are getting these days. In my experience, I started the baby aspir...

Re: Preeclampsia epidemic
I agree with the other ladies. I think the physicians are becoming more knowledgeable about preeclampsia. Physicians in general see a ton of people with high blood pressure and some don't even blink an eye about it. But perhaps with continuing education and may the work of the Preeclampsia Foundatio...

Happy to see all the near term mommies
Hi ladies! It's been a while since I posted. I am so happy to see those from the TTC board on the Pregnant Again, and of course, all the new babies and near term mommies. Lucas is a happy and healthy 3 month old now. He finally learned how to smile and giggle a little. With this second pregnancy I w...

Re: My post-partum appointment
I'm so sorry you had to go through that twice. That's definitely a concerning percentage, given your history. I would be weary about doing it again. Even with medicine like Lovenox or baby aspirin, your preeclampsias seem angry. It worked for lots of us, but it may just be a lucky shot in the dark. ...
