Re : Successful VBAC especially after 2 C-sections???

<t>I doubt you would find a provider in teh US that would be patient enough to give you the chance. I have a pretty amazing provider who routinely does VBA2C's, and even after 3. He also does twin births, and VBAC after twins. In fact, early this year he did a triplet vaginal birth after C-section. ...

Re : BP Meds?

<t>I agree with the other poster. Your low is not all that low (on bottom). It looks a LOT like mine. However, mine does not get quite as high as your top number. My doctor was concerned about masking pre-e, but his solution is to monitor my labs more frequently. I've also done a 24-hour urine colle...

Re : If my labs are good then why nausea?

I've known non-PE people to have nausea come back in the 3rd trimester. Some people just win the nausea lottery. Sorry it sounds like you are one of them :(

Re : I give up.....My BP wins

<t>I totally agree that I would get your BP under control with the best meds possible, and forgo breastfeeding in order to do so. However, I do think that most antihypertensives can safely be used while nursing at this point. I think your doctors have been conservative so far in giving you some of t...

Re : I give up.....My BP wins

<r>Have you researched Dr. Hale? He has great information on meds that are compatible with breastfeeding. Many, many drugs become safer the older the baby gets, and since yours is 4 months old you might look into something like Diovan (I had great results with this drug). Also, keep in mind your bab...

Re : Blood pressure question

<t>I, too, tend to have a higher diastolic reading in relation to stress. I think I have tendencies toward a higher diastolic anyhow, but when I'm in worry mode, it definitely goes higher while my systolic isn't all that high at all. In fact, my average is 130/90 but sometimes get funky readigns lik...

Re : Healthy Heart Rate

<t>I had the very same fear when I started working out. I eased into it, but found the more I worked out, the more I trusted my body. I started back in 2007 and was very out of shape. I did 30-45 minutes of cardio a day on the elliptical. I found it was super easy to get my heart rate up to 175. I d...

Re : Fear, again?

<t>I had a really tough time with health anxiety about 6 years ago. I spent a year simply terrified. I had daily panic attacks. I can completely empathize with your fear of a heart attack. A small ache for me would turn into a positive sign of impending heart attack. Headaches would be sure sign of ...

Re : PIH :(

<t>I would think the medicine could work that quickly, so yes. I started Aldomet last week, and while I still get some of the "higher" numbers, I see a ton more low numbers. <br/> <br/> I completely understand your disappointment. I had considered a homebirth at the beginning of this pregnancy, but ...
