Re : Lovenox, LDA, and C-sections

<t>Yup, yup and yup to what the ladies before me have said. I'm actually a victim of Lovenox--I went into preterm labor after I'd already given myself a shot, and the anesthesiologist refused to give me an epidural, darn her. Different hospitals/anesthesiologists have different policies. If you need...

Re : BC Options (semi perm)

<t>Love my copper IUD. I had nothing but problems with my Mirena, but have nothing but good to say about the copper (this is my 2nd).<br/> <br/> I'm in the same boat--pretty sure I'm done, but not emotionally ready to snip anything. I figure once my IUD has reached the end of its lifespan, I'll be o...

Re : No spinach or broccoli?

The vitamin K in leafy greens won't interfere with heparin, if that's what you're worried about. It works on a different part of the clotting cascade.

Re : New here with questions

<t>Kasey, just wanted to pile on with the others here. I was able to tolerate my URQ pain and nausea until my liver was on the verge of rupturing (and my BP wasn't even elevated until I was admitted to the hospital). Every woman experiences these things differently. I'm very glad you have an appoint...

My favorite creepy new birth control ad is the NuvaRing commercial. It's seriously whacked.

Re : A Birth Control Pill That Promised Too Much

I love those new ads. They crack me up. "So the FDA is making us tell you..." Hee!
