Re : double strollers -- any recommendations?

<t>My gosh, thanks for all of the replies! I'm glad I asked here. I think we're either going to go w/ the Graco because of the two full seats, or possibly the Kolcraft (Anne, I'd love that McLaren, but it's out of our price range!). The only thing I wonder about the Kolcraft is how well it fits an i...

Re : How far were you when.....

I didn't feel anything either time until 16 weeks, and not much consistently until 18. Some women apparently don't feel much until 20 weeks, from what my OB nurse said.

2 weeks to go and no PE!

<t>Last week I was in a panic because my diastolic BP was creeping up a bit, at 116/84. I had my BP checked again in the office on Fri. and again on Mon., and it was 120/68 and 118/78. So it looks like it was either a temporary elevation or is not going up quickly anyway.<br/> <br/> Just thought I'd...

Re : Eastern Medicine

<t>I would try to remember that herbs can often be as powerful as prescription drugs, so their effects are not to be taken lightly. In fact, some Rx drugs out there are actual herbs. Like Mada, I also am a certified massage therapist and have had a fair amount of training in alt. medicine, so I know...

Re : Trip to hospital (sorry for the book)

What an ordeal, but glad to hear your tests were better. Hope your BP stays down and that you can take it easy so you can make it to full term. Just another week! You're right behind me -- I hope!

Re : Help with picking a name!

Just wanted to say don't feel bad -- I'm 36 weeks and we still have at least five names on our list for a boy or a girl, and we don't know the sex!

They are all good names, but I like Ethan best.

double strollers -- any recommendations?

<t>Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if not, I apologize! But I need some advice on a good double stroller. I am leaning toward a Graco Duoglider and possibly an Evenflo Take Me Too or a Compass.<br/> <br/> Do any of you have experience w/ these? What would be your recommendation?...

Re : BP starting to creep a bit

<t>Danielle,<br/> <br/> I hope everything goes well at your appt. I didn't get much of a second-trimester dip -- it went from 110/70 to about 100s/60s -- so in my case I don't think that's it. But it certainly makes sense that my BP goes up a bit at the end of this pregnancy too because I have a str...

BP starting to creep a bit

<t>I went for my 36-week checkup on Mon. and for the first time this pregnancy, my diastolic BP was over 70. Still not bad, at 116/84, but the fact that it jumped that much seems odd. My OB was pretty reassuring and said she wasn't concerned because I had absolutely no weight gain the last two weeks...

Re : Our Princess is here!

Stacey,

Congratulations and hope McKenzie continues to grow nicely and improve so you can enjoy her at home! Take care of yourself and make sure your OB keeps an eye on you postpartum, just to be safe.
