Re : Are you consisdered a HR if you had PE ?

<t>My doctor never actually used the term high risk, but I was monitored more closely with dd#2. I had HELLP with dd#1, so my baseline bloodwork was done at 28 weeks. At 32 weeks I started weekly doc visits, twice a week non-stress tests and once a week urine analysis and bloodwork. I also monitored...

<t>Hi Jenny! It is amazing how many of us feel the same way! When I was pregnant with my second baby, I began to look at bulletin boards and not until recently did I find this one. This is exactly what I need to let me know I am not the only one who feels this way. I am almost ready to go through th...

Re : Very confused...

Welcome! I agree with all the above also. You need more tests and more doctor's visits. That's a pretty high blood pressure reading. Take care of yourself :)

Re : What does the abdominal pain feel like?

<t>The pain was my only symptom when I had HELLP syndrome. My pain was very minor, but wouldn't go away. Everyone told me it was the baby pushing on my lungs. It was in the upper mid/right part of my chest. I thought it was heartburn because I never had heartburn before, but thought that is what it ...

Roll Call: Family History of Pre-e or HELLP

<t>I developed HELLP during my first preg and PIH during my second. I have a second cousin who had Pre-e and HELLP after delivery. My sister just told me she is pregnant. I am scared for her...I was wondering how many of you have other family members who developed PIH, Pre-e or HELLP.<br/> <br/> Mel...

Re : What to do... Dr. is only looking at resting BP's

<t>I would ask to see a peri. When I was preg. with #2, I checked my BPs throughout the day and if they reached over 90 (bottom number) I went home and laid down. I was going to the doc. office once a week, to the hospital 2x a week for NSTs and once a week for urine analysis with bloodwork for HELL...
