Re : How did today's WAT's go?

Nice job, Sandy! I know that you poured your heart and soul into the WAT, and I'm glad to hear it was such a success. Now go enjoy much needed rest on Mother's Day!

Re : my son prefers my husband to me

<t>Awww, I'm sorry that you're feeling this way. Trust me when I tell you that's it's a phase. I'm pretty sure that all kids do this at one point or another. I know that my oldest has. Then they start talking and vocalizing it... "I like Daddy better than you!" or "Only Daddy is my friend." Etc, etc...

Re : husband being sent to iraq....prayers please

<t>Holli, Prayers being sent your way. That is so tough. My husband and I were both Active Duty (he still is) and the 6-monthers were bad enough, I can not imagine 18 months. That is so, so wrong, and people wonder why retention in the military is so bad. But I digress...<br/> <br/> Is there a progr...

Re : Breastmilk and all the drugs from birth...

Fresh is best, so if you have enough, then you can discard the frozen stuff.

Check with your hospital IBCLC, who can look up those drugs and their compatibility with breastfeeding. Good luck.

Re : Questions (lots of them , sorry)

<t>Kathy-I'm an IBCLC and I don't really agree with the advice you've been given about "just breastfeed him-no pumping." He's a tiny guy and doesn't have a lot of weight to lose before he ends up back in the hospital under bili lights. <br/> <br/> Absolutely, preemies get worn out breastfeeding. It'...

Re : At home with Chloe & Ava - need advice!

<t>Easier said than done, but don't feel guilty! You're doing the best that you can. Having 2 definitely changes everything. Unfortunately, someone always gets the short end of the stick because there's only one of you but 2 of them. When you settle into more of a routine and the baby starts napping...

Re : Help with picking a name!

<t>Well, I have to go with Collin. If we ever had a 3rd boy, that is our top choice. My goofy DH said that we need a "C" name so we could then have a boy band and name them "ETC" (et cetera), because of their initials.<br/> <br/> Collin Christopher has a nice ring to it.<br/> <br/> Can't wait to hea...

Re : Is this normal?

Unless you've had a history of pre-term labor, you should be fine with continued nursing. Of course I'd talk to your peri about it, just in case. Is there an IBCLC at your hospital as well? I'd check in with her too for her thoughts. :)
