Re : Good God! Mommy has a potty mouth!!!!

Oh, and totally off topic, but just to put you at ease. For the longest time Dylan's "s" was an "f"... and he was obsessed with his socks. So everywhere we went it was "Fock mommy, fock mommy." Can you just imagine the stares we got!!!

Re : 36 wks with bp of 202/126 Please help me!

<t>I would call my doctor and let him know *I am going to L&D*... express your concern to the L&D staff and your OB that you would feel safer being monitored there with pressures as high as you had. Don't worry what they will think... you have to do what is best for you and what they think j...

Re : 36 wks with bp of 202/126 Please help me!

<r>Mandy,<br/> <br/> I'm shocked, totally shocked that you were allowed to leave that hospital. Do you know how your 24hr and bloodwork came back... regardless really, with those pressures I personally feel you should be in L&D hooked up to a bp monitor at all times... remember though, I'm not a...

Re : Good God! Mommy has a potty mouth!!!!

<t>Oh, that's tough! I would make up some silly word that would make her giggle, exaggerate its use for a bit so she can pick it up and keep my fingers crossed! It's amazing what our little ones pick up when we think they aren't paying attention! I know, I've been there, too!<br/> <br/> Good luck!</t>

Re : On-going hypertension after pregnancy

<r>This is what our experts say, <br/> <br/> there is growing evidence to suggest that preeclampsia during pregnancy may uncover a patient's inherent propensity to develop hypertension and cardiovascular disease later in life (notice we said not cause it, but uncover it since the risks are already t...

Re : How do I approch this matter?

<t>Also, if your doctors give you the go ahead, I'd explain the precarious situation you are in and see if you could work while taking it easy... if that's possible. I know (as a former teacher) my principal was quite fine with my barefeet lectures and my barefeet in the air whilst I propped on my p...

Re : Strange Question

<t>quote:I mentioned this to the doctor, and he said a lot of times they will "explain away" any protein in your urine by saying you're dehydrated, and that's what's making a higher protein count show up. <br/> <br/> I just want to mention that if protein is present on your dips, you should request ...

Re : Strange Question

<r>There is no relation that I'm aware of, but perhaps our more science savvy chick will pick this one up and reply with somethig a bit more solid. In the meantime, I'll do a little research and see if I can get you some answers.<br/> <br/> <URL url="http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic3089.htm">http:...
