Re: My husband is driving me crazy!!!

I wish had advice! Sorry. My situation is the reverse. I actually want my husband to get off my back. From what I've read, bed rest isn't effective. My husband is listening to old school people who don't have facts. He just finished lecturing me about coming straight home from work. We should switch...

Re: Another question re: bp

I'm so irritated guys. I'm just having a bad day and had an even worse night. After I delivered my daughter last October, it took around 11 weeks for my bp to become somewhat stable. I felt helpless. One ER dr would say I needed to go to ER if my pressures were 160/100 while another would say I didn...

Re: Another question re: bp

It's not "in a 6 hour setting" - it's two readings of either separated by 6 hours, the idea being that a one time temporary spike isn't diagnostic, but if you're ringing in high pressures more than once, it is. So your pressures are diagnostic, I'd think. Apart from that, they will usually discount...

Re: Accuracy of 24 hour urinalysis

24 hours are calculated in mg alone, with no deciliters in the accounting. It's just how many milligrams in 24 hours. Ok caryn, I'm having a slow pregnancy moment. . . is that a yes or no? Lol. I'm certain your response is basically saying no, low urine output won't affect the accuracy of the resul...

Re: Accuracy of 24 hour urinalysis

Good points but my question is... will low urine output affect the accuracy of the results?

Another question re: bp

Over the past 3 days, I've had a high reading... 138/94 one morning, 144/97, last night, 144/100 this morning... So, once once per day. I know pre-e is only diagnosed when bp is over 140/90 two times in a 6 hour setting. Mine goes normal within the hour after taking my meds. So, should I not be conc...

Accuracy of 24 hour urinalysis

Ok, so, I called today and was told my protein was 160. Last week it was 115 but I thought (and the Dr) that might be inaccurate because I didn't do it 100% accurately. It was 280 two weeks ago. Yes, I'm a ding bat. So, I asked if I could do it again. When I dropped it off Wednesday, the lab tech sa...

Re: How many weeks are you??

Ugh. I can remember that feeling. After I lost my baby, I was up to 800 three xs per day! I think that was the dosage, I just remembering I was at the max... 2400. Plus, I was on procardia. Good luck to you and you will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Re: How many weeks are you??

Yay Alviarin! You're almost there. Congrats cgoodi1 on your pregnancy and being 9 weeks. Almost to that 12 week milestone. I remember that was my first sign of relief.
