Re: Complications following possible HELLP

Aw, mamahood and guilt- they so often unnecessarily go hand in hand. Of course he knows her- knows her better than anyone, after all he's heard her heartbeat from the inside! I hope they find their groove soon and know they will. That's a bond that knows no limits. Thanks for continuing to update :)

Re: Pls help need reassurance

Sometimes all you can do is enjoy the moment and today being well. I really like this quote and read it frequently while pregnant. "Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its troubles; it robs today of its strength.l You might find it helpful to ask your doctor what would worry her- and use that as your...

Re: Pls help need reassurance

How was your appointment today? You might find it beneficial to speak with someone during your pregnancy that can provide stress relief strategies. I did during my 2nd pregnancy and found it extremely helpful. Excessive stress and worry about what might happen certainly doesn't keep things from happ...

Re: Pls help need reassurance

Congrats on 23w4! Each pregnancy is so different, and when you've had a previous one be complicated it's so challenging to find peace during a subsequent pregnancy. Total not doc me, finds it reassuring that your blood pressure has been awesome and that the visual disturbances have been when tired- ...

Re: Complications following possible HELLP

My goodness, what a rollercoaster. I really can't even imagine how difficult these days have been for her- and the whole family- especially when you think you'll be out one day and then find yourself still stuck a few days later.

My thoughts continue to be with her and your family.

Re: Pls help need reassurance

Hi There- I'm glad you've discussed them with your doctor and have some guidance regarding your visual disturbances. It seems in line with the direction we got. Visual disturbances are one of those tricky symptoms since they are also totally normal. Non-pregnant people sometimes have visual disturba...

Re: Complications following possible HELLP

What a road they have been on! I'm so thankful to hear that she and baby are making positive, albet slow, progress. Thanks for continuing to update. I'm keeping them in my thoughts and hoping a quiet restful (as possible!) sleep in her own bed at home is in the near future.

Re: Complications following possible HELLP

Welcome. I'm so sorry to hear of the complications your sister in law is facing. What a lucky family to have you reaching out for support and considering what is most helpful for them. It is not uncommon to continue to face complications after birth. Pre-eclampsia and HELLP can leave long lasting co...
