Re: BP higher in the am?

A friend of mine who was on hospital bedrest had normal pressures all day except for in the middle of the night. Go figure! Mine is typically lower in the morning and higher at night. I think that's one of the great things about keeping such good track of your own bp... you start to see trends that ...

Re: Help Needed for Friend Urine Colour ( pic included)

Oy! I'm so sorry to hear they didn't really take her concerns seriously. I'd also be thinking about a different hospital in the area, perhaps one with a NICU and a more responsive staff used to more complicated pregnancies. Keeping you and your friend in my thoughts. She is so very lucky to have you...

Re: When is swelling concerning?

I also find myself looking for the shoe to drop since that was/has been our normal. I remember when I was pregnant with my 2nd reading a sign as "Expecting a Crisis?" when really it said "Experiencing a Crisis?" Such a fine line!! So thankful to hear that so far all is well! May it stay that way the...

Re: Just diagnosed 27 Weeks

What a rollercoaster! We also made the decision with our 2nd (and will again with our 3rd) to move closer to a better hospital- right on momma! Sounds like it was totally the right call in your case as well. I also doubt they would have found out what was going on at your regular hospital. Congrats ...

Re: Doctor is "too" positive

It's difficult when your doctor is too positive because it kinda leaves you being the negative one in the relationship... when you're focus should be on enjoying your pregnancy as much as possible. I second maybe trying to see a MFM/Peri... hopefully a different one than you saw before... at least i...

Re: New Here

I'm so sorry things have been rocky this pregnancy, and I am especially sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter. There are others here with waaaay more experience than I, but one thing that we had to do was weekly 24hr catches, and I think we started those around 25weeks which is when our bp had ...

Re: Whammy :(

Today it was taken manually (thanks Libby) and it was 142/74 give or take. I stopped listening after I heard one for- booooo. I do think that might have been more nerves/movement but I also like to make a lot of excuses for why my bp creeps up... anything that keeps it from being anything related to...

Bummer about the reading! Glad to hear they are on top of things and taking everything seriously. I'll keep things crossed that your labs look good!
