Re : when do non-stress tests start?

<t>I had them twice a week with my 1st starting about 32 weeks, 2x a week with my second starting at 30 weeks. I didn't have them with my 3rd on a regular basis just occaisionally and with my last when I was hospitalized at 31 weeks they did them daily until they delivered at 34 weeks. I think it ju...

Re : Don't know what to feel

Sad news, I miscarried Sunday evening. Part of me is somewhat relieved and another part(the one who had already picked out names) is devastated. Anyway, thanks for the support.

Don't know what to feel

<t>I found out yesterday that I am pregnant again. Yes, this would be our 5th baby and yes I am insane. I am just so overwhelmed ATM. It is still very early, I am only 4 weeks 2 days with a due date of 1-09-08 going by my last period so anything could happen yet. I am trying not to get too worked up...

Re : I need to vent???

I know she would rather be home I spent almost a month in the hospital myself this last time on bedrest. Just remind yourself she is somewhere safe for her and baby and best of luck on getting to 34 weeks.

Re : Morning sickness and PE

<t>I had very severe morning(really all day) sickness with my 3rd pregnancy that ended up being my only girl.I had to take phenergan and was dehydrated to the point that my midwife almost sent me to have an IV. Weirdly I did the best with that pregnancy BP wise getting to 38 weeks with only PIH and ...

Re : black spots and fatique

<t>Heather, I saw swirling paisley spots with all of my pregnancies even with my 3rd that never progressed to preeclampsia because I never had protein and I was just diagnosed with PIH but I still saw them. They were clear though never saw any black spots. I guess it is different for everyone. Take ...

Re : QOOD: CALLING ALL PE ALUMNA: Did'ja get mag?

<t>I have been on mag sulfate 4 times. Before delivery and after with my 1st baby and then again when I was readdmitted when he was 3 days old. I had a high reading in the middle of the night of 220/140. Mag again with my second. No mag with my 3rd because I never had any protein but I had pressures...

Re : Planned induction in 2nd preg w/history of PE

I had a C-section at 38 weeks with my 3rd pregnancy. I didn't have full blown pre-e just PIH. They started talking about inducing when I hit 37 weeks and I didn't want to be induced again so we scheduled a repeat C-section. I had an emergency C-section with my second baby.

Re : For those who've had Cesarean Deliveries...

<t>Dear Kelly, I had my first baby vaginally and the last 3 have been sections. I think the C-sections are easier. Of course there is a little pain at the incision but to me it was nothing like the pain and bruising of having a baby vaginally. I was always up and walking the first day and I don't th...
