Re : When did you get PIH???

<t>First pg, my bp's started going up at 29wks. Didn't have protein until a few weeks later. Made it to 35wks before we had to induce. Second pg, bp's good until 32wks. I started feeling bad before then, but they didn't catch a high bp reading until a few weeks later. Protein showed up at 34wks, but...

Is this normal 2yo behavior?

<t>I picked Avery up from daycare today at 1:15 for speech therapy. The teacher said she had been drooling a lot. After we got in the car, I noticed Avery wasn't saying anything, but I couldn't get her to open her mouth. When we got to therapy, I told J she probably wouldn't say much today, b/c it l...

Re : Chronic Hypertension and pregnancy

<t>Thanks Laura and Sabrina for that. I guess that means I need to be treating my CHN a little more agressively if I want to have another child. My new dr has taken me off a bp med that was working some, but still had higher than 120/80 pressures to putting me on something that does not work at all ...

Re : Does it really take that long to get the results??

Lucy,

I haven't had any tests run, so I have no idea when they would be back. I just wanted to wish you luck with the results.

Re : How to make traveling cheaper?

<t>Hey Lucy,<br/> <br/> Thanks for the well wishes. <br/> <br/> Well, we did do a little better this weekend. I still had to have McAlister's for supper when we got there Friday, but we let the kids eat in the room for breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Saturday night, my very very fruggle friend want...

Re : More ?'s on IUDs

<t>They claim the new IUDs are safer than the ones from a few decades ago. My dr won't let you have one unless you've already had a child, in case it does mess with your fertility. But, my sister has never had a child and her dr let her have one. Besides the girl with 4 boys that got pregnant on it,...

Re : Who has a Mirena IUD?

<t>I've had mine for two years now and love it. Are you planning on breastfeeding? I bfed Avery and she snacked thru most of the night, so my progesterone levels weren't going up. That made me bleed every single day for the first six months I had it in. The dr said my cervix was thin and the IUD was...

Re : Took the first step!!

That's great, Michelle. I plan on finding a peri before my next pregnancy to look into getting all the bloodwork done, but that's not for a few years. Let us know what he says.

Re : When it rains it pours...UGH! UPDATE 2/1

<t>Meg, I think what you're thinking of is diverticulitis. Lori, a friend of mine kept having blood in her stool and after the colonoscopy, it turned out she had a hemmoroid, so hopefully it's something as simple as that. Big {hugs} to you. You've been through a lot over the last couple of months. Y...

Re : How to make traveling cheaper?

<t>I hate to say this, but my DH can be really weird sometimes. He won't( or at least really hates to) drive other people's cars. For the longest time, he wouldn't even drive my car, and we've been married for almost 5 years. I could go to H'burg and pick him up, but that's 3 hours there and back, t...
