Re : I thought it would be easier this year

<t>My bloodpressures were still extremely high postpartum for about a week. I was on labetalol 300 mg 2x a day, but didn't see any drop in pressures until my doc added Procardia XL 30mg once a day. After adding that med, I was able to drop the labetalol dosage to just 100mg a day within 10 days. You...

Re : Earliest diagnosis of PE

My PE was diagnosed at 18 weeks. I had a rapid and severe onset. I had seen my OB for a regular appointment where all my labs and urine came back normal and 11 days later was admitted into the hosptial.

PE in 2nd pregnancy

<t>My dh and I are in the process of trying to decide if we should TTC again or look at other options such as adoption or surrogacy. I was diagnosed with PE in my first pregnancy at 18.5 weeks and was induced b/c of the severe nature of my PE at 19 weeks. I know what all of the statistics are 60%rec...

<t>I am so sorry. I was told at 17 weeks my baby would not live through the pregnancy, and then at 18 weeks went into severe preeclampsia in June 2007. <br/> <br/> My husband I were devastated. And the first 48 hours, I just didn't want to be pregnant anymore. I felt like a walking casket. But the P...
