Re : Can anyone help me out with this? uterine doppler

<t>You are not necessarily alone, I also got PE early and severe (boderline HELLP) extremely early at 18 weeks. All of the MFM specialists I saw in the hosptial said "we've never seen PE happen so severely so early"...I was like great, why do I get to be the special one. So far, none of my medical w...

Re : Appointment with peri yesterday

<r>Alicia, <br/> I am so sorry your peri couldn't offer you anything more positive. I am meeting with one of my peri's next week, and I am sure the conversation will be similar. I have had the tests for blood clotting disorders and they all came back negative. I was diagnosed with PE at 18 weeks. I ...

Re : BAD DAY

<t>We mourn not only our children we've lost, but the children we have not yet had don't we. I wish you strength. I too grieve for my daughter and my fertility every day. Yesterday was a bad day for me. Today was a little better. Maybe tomorrow will be a good day. <br/> The measure of life now broke...

frustrated

<t>It's been 7 1/2 weeks since I delivered Abby and I am so frustrated. When I was induced at 18 weeks for severe PE, my Abby was already dying...her heart was in failure, her liver was in failure, severe edema throughout the body and she had a cycstic hygroma. All of the tests came in, all her chro...

Re : Am I just over-reacting?

Definitely call your doc and voice your concerns! I developed PE at 18 weeks, which is very uncommon, but it can happen! You are not overeacting, and taking a proactive approach protects you and your baby.

spilling protein postpartum after PE

<t>I am still showing a 1+ protein level in my urine six weeks postpartum. My Nephrologist doesn't seem that concerned, but since I only have one kidney, I am a little concerned. <br/> <br/> Is it common to still be spilling small amounts of protein postpartum? When should I expect to stop spilling ...

MTHFR

<t>I have been reading a lot about MTHFR (I found out yesterday that I tested positive for homozygous MTHFR)and I am confused about what MTHFR really is and what it does to the body and how it affects pregnancy. Everything I am reading has too much "science jargon". My OB explained that it keeps you...

Re : Having a difficult day

<t>I feel heartbroken every day. Sometimes, just seeing the baby section at Target makes me want to cry. And I do keep going back and getting out Abigail's pictures and footprints. <br/> <br/> I hope you can have more good days than bad...and that you can find a little comfort in knowing that you ar...

Re : Another sad day for us

How devestating for both of your friends! There are really no words to comfort when a child is lost...born or unborn. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
