Re : Cause for concern?

<t>I never spilled protein (dipstick only) but I was on bedrest for BP issues and was then induced at 37 weeks for pre-E when I had abdominal pain (at the top of my uterus) and was hyper reflexive. Plus my BP was like 190/110 or something.<br/> Maybe you can tell your OB you want a 24 hour urine tes...

Re : What is normal procedure for inducing?

<t>Like you I was induced right at 37 weeks because of sudden pre-E. But even at 37 weeks my DD had a big head and was "stuck". They tried vacuuming her out and couldn't get 2 different suction things to stick. Ended up with a big episiotomy. YUCK!<br/> For my next one my Dr. said right from the beg...

Re : B/P meds and nausea

<t>I started on Labetalol when I found out I was pregnant. I was not planning to be pregnant and had been on Lysinopril (sp?) which is a category D. I was nauseous all day long through 14 weeks but for the past 3 weeks I have not been nauseous on it.<br/> I would definitely check with your Dr. (((HU...

Re : Oh.....pregnant ones! Come one, come all!

<t>So tell us:<br/> <br/> 1) How far along are you? 16 1/2 weeks<br/> <br/> 2) Boy, girl, or surprise?! Hope to find out Sept 4 :)<br/> <br/> 3) How are you doing? Ok. 100 mg Labetalol is managing to keep BP around 135/85 or less. I worry about it going higher & needing more meds and/or bedrest ...

Re : High BP at 14 weeks

<t>I think pain increases your bp, have you taken tylenol for your headache? Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! Keep us updated!<br/> I hadn't thought about pain elevating my BP. I did take Tylenol (after drinking a ton of water and realizing that wasn't helping). Later last night I had a bette...

High BP at 14 weeks

<t>Hello - I just found this site today. I had Pre-E & PIH with my first DD in 2003 and was induced at 37 weeks. Her sister was induced 17 months later at 38 weeks for PIH and I was on modified bed rest for the last 2 months. We were not planning more kids but we have a little surprise on the wa...
