Re : just diagnosed with pre-e.....need advice pls....

<t>I don't want to scare you or anything, just want you to be really careful and monitor like crazy, but with my last pregnancy, they hospitalized me at 27 weeks because my bp was high (150/100). I stayed for 5 days and everything got miracuously better. BP went down, protein went down. I felt great...

is my Dr. an idiot?

<t>or is it just me?<br/> a little background. With all my pregnancies, I have seen a perinatologist full time. This time around, we have moved and to see the peri here I have to be referred by an OB first. So I went to my first appointment around 6 weeks although I thought it was 7. They wouldn't l...

Re : high pulse - question?

<t>I'm curious to see what others say about this as well. My pulse is constantly racing. At resting it can be 100+ but no one has ever said anything about it. I know when in the hospital, they would often confuse my pulse with the baby's heartbeat because my pulse was so high. I thought I had figure...

Re : Transfusion..any experience with this?

<t>With my last, we could always tell a difference after a transfusion. She was still anemic after we brought her home and had to give her iron with her feeds. I know they almost gave me a transfusion after I hemorrhaged. With as tired as I was and sick as I was when they sent me home, I wish they h...

Thanks, I'm hoping it is boring as well although we are already preparing for the worst. Currently going to see a peri on the 31st but looking to move closer to SL so I may end up back at **** yet again. Glad there are a few others here.

Re : hyperthyroid?

<t>I'm not sure what labs were run. I know it was just one. He only ran that one because he noticed my throat looked enlarged and when he felt it, he decided to go ahead with the lab for thyroid. I don't know what the levels were but he said they weren't high at all. I'm seeing a perinatologist the ...

hyperthyroid?

<t>As you can see from my sig, I've been through this a few times. I have many underlying risk factors for getting pre-e but the latest thing I read really perked my interest.<br/> <br/> I have been told since I was 16 that I have borderline hyperthyroid. It would fluctuate back and forth and someti...

Re : Measuring too big!!

I don't know that it's a correlation but I had polyhydramnios with my third and was measuring 42 weeks by the time I was 31 weeks. Have they done a biophysical?
