How do you not burn out?

<t>I think I've already done it. I'm just burned out. I'm so tired, mentally and physically. I'm having a really hard time dealing with having to drive an hour and a half away everyday, with all the kids, in the AWFUL snow to spend an hour with my baby, sit around for another hour (shift change) spe...

Re : Preemie link to ADD?

<t>I read somewhere that preemies have a higher chance of developing ADHD but then again, I've read that preemies have a higher chance of developing about everything else as well.<br/> <br/> That being said, I wonder if they really have a higher chance or if they are just diagnosed when others aren'...

do you ever blame yourself?

<t>I know, I know. Everyone says it wasn't my fault Ivy had to come early but then I think "well, they don't really know everything I did. It really is my fault". I despised being on bedrest, I moaned and groaned when they put me in the hospital, I was mad at the Dr. for giving me steroid shots and ...

Re : HELP...advice needed

I tried all the tricks. Nothing worked. Finally, after 3 months of vomiting, I got a script from the Dr. that worked magic. I took it until 5 months when the pre-e started. I hope you can find something that works for you.

Re : Preemie

<t>We must have been due around the same time although Ivee was born 12/5 at 25weeks 4days. She is also still in the NICU and will be there for awhile. Sorry to hear about the problems with the oscillator. I've been there when they had to reintubate Ivee. Scary to watch, especially when their heartr...

Re : A question

For me, it varied on how hydrated I was. I had a 4+ with a 24hr urine of 600 but only a 3+ with a 24hr urine of over 5000. I would head in and get some labs done. How are your BPs?

Re : Msg. for Boo - Oscilator Vent

<t>Thank you all. I know the oscillator is really helping her. It's just a shock that she has taken such a step back after being on quick flow for 2 weeks. It turns out that on top of the infection she already had, she now has another infection. They are having to suction out her lungs every 15 minu...

Re : Myspace for updates

<t>No, they have run cultures on us both. They are different kinds of infections and they can't figure out how either of us got them, although with Ivee, it could have been from anyone. With me... well... it's in my uterus and I've been on "don't touch me" orders until 6 weeks so we have no idea whe...
