Sorry Im late with this. I wish that none of us had to go through this once, let alone twice. My second baby should have been one this week. Thinking of you.

Re : Mirena IUD question (OT)
<t>I had a Mirena after Ellie was born, and once it was removed for ttc I got my period within a couple of weeks and then back to a regular cycle after that. I think it depends on how regular you were before! I charted temps as suggested above and always knew when I ovulated, then conceived within 8...

Re : What do you say?
<t>I have had to answer this question in my new job, and took the decision to answer the question ' do you have a family' with 'not any more'. I find that if people want to know more they ask, and those that are uncomfortable with my response don't take it any further. It works for me. I always hate...

A dilemma
<t>It's been a while since I posted. I don't read posts as often as I used to as Im trying to come to terms with not having a living child. <br/> <br/> I am starting a new job next week, and Im ashamed to say that I am quite relieved that I am just going to be 'Sue the new employee' not 'Sue whose b...

Re : I lost my Julia
<t>Pam I am so sorry for the loss of your precious daughter. My Ellie was born at 27wks 1lb 4oz and lived for 27 days. I had a nuchal scan at 12 wks with a 1 in 58 risk of downs syndrome. We chose not to have further tests. Ellie did have downs syndrome. It is scary how similar some of our stories a...

Re : cant believe this happened
I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost my daughter. 3 years on and the pain is still there, its different now, but it never goes away. This board was a lifeline at the worst time of my life.

Advice needed re friend
<t>You know how hard it is when you 'think' someone is showing signs of PE, especially when you have lost your own baby through this? I have a friend who has had high bp now very high, severe headache and visual disturbance and it now appears that she has protein and has been admitted. She is 23+4.<...

Re : ?'s about PCOS
<t>I also have pcos. I can't help with the Peri/Endo question as Im in UK. I see an endocrinologist here, and also find metformin helps with some symptoms. It is definately possible to fall pregnant with PCOS - I have managed it twice without medical assistance despite being told I needed IVF to con...

Re : PCOS and Pre-eclampsia
<t>I took the natural route too, and I'm convinced it helped. I also was on Metformin for just 6wks before I conceived the 2nd time (had been trying for 7 months before that). Co-incidence or not? I don't know, I wasn't on anything at all the first time I conceived - I didn't think I could get pregn...
