Re : Your opinions on Amnio at 37 weeks?

I also was scheduled to have amnio at 36 weeks to test for lung maturity and the OB chose this time since with my prior history and classical c/s we didn't want to chance me going into labor..and use steroids if I was going at 36/27 weeks. Michael came at 32 so we never did it.

Re : Essure, anyone?

<t>I had it done back in December, best decision I made for birth control. It was done in the OBGYN's office, just minor uncomfortablness but the procedure took less tahn 40 min. I also didn't have any trouble with follow on monthly periods, they are the same. In the past I have been on depo, the pi...

Re : 20 month old with possible RSV and dehydration?

<t>Honestly I would think you should go to the ER. My son was in the ER 2 weeks ago for one night due to RSV. He is 14 months old. Our pedi saw him on Day 1 and suggested to go w/in 24 hrs if he wasn't better. Best suggestion and while he didn't need oxygen, just about 3 back to back asthma treatmen...

Re : GREAT BOOK FOR PREEMIE PARENTS

I agree, I found this book after Michael was in the NICU and home...although he had NEC and had I read the book I might have freaked out a bit. Luckily we made it through w/o surgery.

Re : Baby hates tummy time

<t>Tummy time is important but keeping Kyle off the back of his head for long periods of time is essential..even just laying him on one side, then the other will prevent positional plagiocephaly (flat head) which my son Michael has/had. We didn't do a lot of tummy time and he did sit in a bouncy cha...

Re : Blood Pressure Question for Chronic Gals

<t>I am on Benicar 40-12.5 and just saw the nephrologist last week. I am moving and needed to make sure I had a new script. He gave me the ok to just see a family doctor and that "I'm cured" which really means I'll be on the Benicar for life. With my history and family history of high bp there isn't...

Re : Michelle Duggar emergency c-section

<t>I truly hope baby and mom are doing well. <br/> <br/> It has been said that Michelle Duggar had PE in a prior pregnancy, though I'm not sure which one. I know they, as we all, have their strong religious beliefs and in no way would I want any family or baby to go through the NICU or PE...but..I t...
