Re: PIH and Chronic Hypertension

That doesnt give me alot of hope. :( With my first two pregnacies I had high b/p but not medicine. However I did not develop PE with my second, I was on my way there (b/p creeping up, protein in urine), I started showing signs at 28 weeks that I may develop it but made it to 35 weeks without actuall...

PIH and Chronic Hypertension

So I am a little confused, I know that if you have chronic hypertension, you at are higher risk of developing pre-eclampsia. I also know if you are not chronic but develop pregnancy induced hypertension, you are at a greater risk of developing pre-eclampsiaand PIH almost always (I know it doesnt all...

Re: Anyone have an emergency C-sec while on lda?

With my first pregnancy I was taking lda right until the very day I had my c-section, the doctors at the hospital I was in really didnt seem too concerned about it. I did not have HELLP, just Severe PE at 29 weeks. I did bleed a lot right after I came out of surgery, but I did that with my second de...

Re: On the road once again...

I just wanted to chime in here, when I was pregnant with my DS, I was hospitalized at 28 weeks for high bp (170/80), and I had to do the 24 hour urine collection. While I was there my bp went down and my protein came back in the 220's, I was sooo convinced that I was on the road to getting PE again,...

Re: Grrr.....

I have never been through losing a child....but I am sure it is devstating...and I am sorry for your loss. Have you ever thought that maybe this is your MIL's way of coping with the loss of your daughter? Perhaps her trying to believe that your daughter is being reincarnated into your second is here...

Re: I just want another kid is that so horrible? VENT

I had a very similar situation, I found out in March that I was unexpectdely pregnant with out third child, at my first OB appt he could not even see a sac, he then sent me to get my hcg levels checked and they were not doubling as expected. I then ...

Here Again!!

I havent posted much in awhile, but last week I found out I was pregnant again. Needless to say it has been an emotional rollercoaster since then, wondering if I will come out of this okay, asking myself why didnt I think two was enough, why push anymore. Then to make matters worse I went to the doc...

Confusing Question

Once again I dont know if anyone can answer this or not....but it was worth a shot. At 35 weeks I had PPROM with my DS, no contractions throughout the pregnancy (although my back was sore for a week before that, and I dont know if that was a sign or not), in fact I had a NST about 6 hours before I r...
