Re : trying again

<t>Pamelapoff -<br/> I was told when I get pregnant again since they found an underlying disorder (factor V) that I would be on Lovenox shots (blood thinner like heparin) for the entire pregnancy...it should help the factor v clots to not effect the pregnancy thus prolonging the PE and HELLP.<br/> <...

Re : Husband might want another child

<t>Having another baby after having HELLP is a huge and very important decision that only you and your husband can make. I find comfort in the medical community, my OB and MFM but I still have thoughts of the recent reality of burying my daughter. We have decided after a year to try again, they did ...

Ashley, I am so sorry to hear about your DS Nolan. I too have a similar story. We lost our daughter Annabelle last year to HELLP. Hang in there - this is an amazing site with some wonderful ladies full of information and comforting words. Feel free to email if you need to talk.

Re : Update...all tests are in!

I will tell you that I have changed my diet (little to no salt) and I continue to work out at least 30 minutes daily (walking, biking etc) to keep my blood moving as I too have a clotting disorder. Best of luck to you ... I hope you are finding useful information.

Re : HELLP and Lovenox

I had HELLP with my pregnancy and was told by my OB and MFM that when I get a positive HPT I'll be on Lovenox injections. I have factor 5 as well...they both belive it will be helpful in assisting a more positive outcome then I had with my last pregnancy.

Re : blood work and waiting!

Good luck waiting -
I'll tell you my MFM was "happy" if you can call it that...to find something he could "treat" or at least control. It's hard no matter how you look at it. All you can do is wait and see and cross your fingers.

Re : New to site...looking for a support system

<t>Morning!<br/> <br/> so I'll try to be short and sweet. Waited for an hour and 1/2 yesterday to visit with my current OB (the one that's retiring from OB in July and only going to to GYN). We discussed my entire chart...the last pregnancy, the tests (some I didn't even know they ran), we discussed...

Re : Hello new here, just experienced HELLP

<t>Holiday - Hi there and welcome to the site. This is an amazing place with some pretty great women on it. Although they don't know what "causes" help some doctors suggest that there are things that "enable" it. My MFM and OB did extensive tests on my liver, kidneys, and blood after I lost my daugh...
