Hair problems during pregnancy

<t>So, I know this is more than a bit vain and hardly life-threatening on the pre-eclampsia scale, but my hair just looks awful this pregnancy. It used to be naturally wavy and shiny and now its just straight dry and brittle. Ugh I look a mess! Has anyone else experienced this, and did you find anyt...

Re : Sooo Sad

That's just horrible. I've been there too - PE and stillbirth followed by 2 mcs. Don't give up all hope. Thinking of you x

Re : Do all women have problems?

<t>There are loads of women with previous PE (probably the majority) who are tested extensively for a range of underlying conditions - even some where there is very little (if any) evidence they increase PE risks. This even seems to go for many of those with early onset disease. I don't really know ...

Re : movement at 24 weeks

<t>Thanks - utter futility races through my mind quite a lot at this stage. There is not much anyone can really do for rapidly escalating pre-eclampsia at these very borderline gestations; my last pregnancy demonstrated that so clearly as I was already in hospital being closely monitored when my bab...

movement at 24 weeks

<t>hi everyone, <br/> <br/> I'm having another wobble. Am away on work at the moment till tomorrow (tomorrow I will be exactly 24 weeks). I feel totally well - actually really energetic despite not sleeping all that well. No BP or other issues yet. But the baby was moving quite well last week and ov...

Re : Broke down crying in the baby store

<t>I just can't get anything ready yet either - can't bring myself to buy anything and won't let anyone else buy anything yet either. This is sad, but "normal" I think. I reckon we'll end upbuying everything in a last minute rush (probably after the baby is born) because nethier of us can bring ours...

Re : What is going on here? Will I make it?

<t>I never had much more than a mild-moderate headache, and little in the way of other symptoms except not feeling great. But I had BP up to 230/120, pulmonary oedema, post=partum HELLP etc. <br/> <br/> Please don't think things can't be that bad because you don't feel too bad<br/> <br/> I'm hoping ...

Re : What is going on here? Will I make it?

Bp can change very quickly. Mine rose from 150/95 about 3:30pm in the afternoon I was diagnosed to about 190/100 by 5pm. [it got worse too - but that gives you an idea on the speed of change]
