I would try to gradual...

Re : Check-in please!

Hi

1) 29 weeks (Alice died at 26 weeks exactly) so great to get this far even, baby estimated weight was 2lb 10 at 28+0
2) Feel absolutely fine
3) Really just to have a living baby would be great

Re : Morbid thoughts

I feel like this too - even at 29 weeks when I can feel the baby moving a lot (but if she stops for a moment, I'm trying to prod her to wake up again ... its me keeping the baby awake at the moment :-)

I think I've just accepted that's how it is for me with pregnancy.

Re : What not to say

<t>People just really don't know Kristy. I try not to let that kind of comment upset me but just inform them that sadly it does still happen and sometimes there is nothing either the mother or any doctors can do to help. I think Laura is right - everyone dwells on the normal and happy. I'm sorry abo...

I only saw this around 23 weeks, so it can arrive quite late!

Re : prognosis at 24 weeks?

<t>This is so so hard Jane - early onset pre-eclampsia is the worst in my opinion, and my thoughts are with you and your family. I had a really bad outcome at 25-26 weeks, but my case was much worse than the "norm" and I am hoping for the best for your daughter and her baby. I think you just need to...

Re : Sad and angry

<t>I was 37 (just a few days short of my 38th birthday) when I lost my daughter to PE at 26 weeks - that was May 2009. I know all the emotions you are expressing only too well. The older age just brings an added fear that I somehow "messed up" my only chance to have a child. <br/> <br/> I am now 27 ...
