Re : Thought I was good, but I guess not

<t>I honestly would give up work asap with it being this high this early. Just too risky. I thought I could inch along doing work back in 2005 (I had a stressful job and felt bad leaving my team in a lurch) I pushed it a couple days and paid for it dearly. <br/> <br/> Glad you are off and hope you c...

Re : 2nd trimester dip

<t>Agree with Sonja that that rule goes for ALL pregnant women but don't agree that 98 over 58 is that unusual for a regular non-hypertensive pregnant women. My perinatologist said it's completely normal to run 90 over 60 while pregnant during the "dip". And it sounds like you are tracking similar t...

Re : Really? Really? This is nuts...

I think that is stupid. If your labs are up there is no reason to keep the baby in longer at almost 38 wks. I am sorry - wish I could do something. I would just keep hollering and threatening them and push for an induction asap at this point.

Re : Anyone else get nervous every time they go to dr.

<t>PPS Actually LOL the absolute highest white coat syndrome experience that gave me a crazy reading was before I got pregnant and went in for a consult with the perinatologist. I was petrified....and I knew how much was riding on the meeting because basically we had decided if we didnt trust the ca...

Re : Is anyone else tired of....

<t>Ditto. I am not chronic hypertensive but am so ready to pack mine up and BE DONE. And I have to track it and report it so I have papers all over the place covering 9+ months of tracking. And I have two monitors (my personal and one rented to me) and am so neurotic sometimes I check both! <br/> <b...

Re : Very LOW BP suddenly?

Ditto on the 2nd trimester dip (which BTW my Ob says is a very positive sign in her opinion). Also if you are anemic I think your pulse goes up and your BP goes down (at least mine did around 28 wks)

Re : Anyone else get nervous every time they go to dr.

<t>Oh hon you may have read about my white coat syndrome before and I am the Queen of it. I get petrified. Absolutely petrified. So to make you feel better I think my highest nervous reading this pregnancy has been 149 over 89 in the office. That is crazy high for me considering I ran at 90/60 much ...

Re : Swelling question

<t>Hmmm so I dont have any facial swelling with pregnancy #2 (39 weeks) but I have had alot of saliva and frequently choke on it - it is the weirdest thing. Also at night if I am not lying right I wheeze (and I dont have asthma) My doc said it is some sort of internal swelling in the windpipes. Or s...

Re : Im overdue

Totally agree with Alison. My Ob said IF we wanted to go past our due date we could go to 41 weeks but they would start NSTs after 40 weeks just tomake sure baby is okay. And that is with things going really well right now (ie no BP problems and no pre-e at 39 weeks).
